Complexity Load

The cognitive + coordination demand a transition imposes on a household.

Compression Rate

Speed at which option sets close as execution approaches (A5).

Confidence Drift

Change in PR not matched by change in EBR over time: Δ(PR) - Δ(EBR).

Evidence-Based Readiness (EBR)

Objective latent preparedness for a transition, inferred from observable planning actions rather than confidence or wealth.

Identity Entanglement

Degree to which net worth/role is fused with self-concept.

Risk concentrated at discipline boundaries (tax x estate, liquidity x deal-structure).

Irreversibility Density

Share of a transition's decisions that are one-way doors.

Net Readiness Position (NRP)

NRP = EBR - R*(TCI). Readiness relative to what THIS transition requires.

Perceived Readiness (PR)

Subjective latent preparedness — how ready a person feels for a transition.

Planning Density

Tightness of integration across planning disciplines (coverage x coordination).

Readiness Gap (RG)

RG = PR - EBR. The divergence between felt and evidenced readiness.

Readiness Gap Diagnostic

Per-profile calibration readout: PR vs EBR with band classification.

Readiness Inequality

Distribution of readiness across cohorts; whether readiness tracks wealth.

Readiness Velocity

Rate of EBR improvement per unit time: Δ(EBR)/Δt.

Stakeholder Alignment

Concordance of readiness/intent among affected parties (spouse, heirs, partners).
